South Sumatra is a province located on the eastern coast of Sumatra Island, Indonesia. The capital city of the province is Palembang, which is also the second-largest city on the island after Medan. South Sumatra is known for its rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and unique cuisine. The province is home to a diverse range of ethnic groups, including the Malay, Javanese, Chinese, and Minangkabau people.
