Lampung

Lampung is a province located on the southern tip of Sumatra Island in Indonesia. The province is bordered by Bengkulu to the north, South Sumatra to the east, and the Sunda Strait to the south, separating it from the island of Java. The capital city of Lampung is Bandar Lampung. Tourist attractions in Lampung include the Way Kambas National Park, which is home to various endangered species, such as the Sumatran elephant, rhinoceros, and tiger, and the Krakatoa Volcano, which is famous for its eruption in 1883. The province also has several beaches and islands, such as Tanjung Setia Beach and the Thousand Islands, which offer opportunities for surfing, snorkeling, and diving.
