Central Sulawesi

Central Sulawesi is a province located in the central part of Sulawesi Island in Indonesia. The province is bordered by Gorontalo to the north, West Sulawesi to the west, South Sulawesi to the south, and the Molucca Sea to the east. The capital city of Central Sulawesi is Palu. Tourist attractions in Central Sulawesi include the Togean Islands, which offer white sand beaches and excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities. The Lore Lindu National Park is another popular destination, which is home to various endemic species of flora and fauna, including the anoa (a type of wild buffalo), babirusa (a type of pig), and various species of primates.
